Input into the Garment Review and Information Project (GRIP) , by participation on the GRIP Reference Group. GRIP is an evaluation of the Lymphoedema Compression Garment Program (LCGP) in Victoria, which provides subsidies for lymphoedema compression garments to people who receive a pension or who are assessed as being a low income earner.
A Summary Report, released in April 2006, is available via the LCGP website at www.compression-programvic.org
Participation on the Steering Committee for the 2006 General Practice Divisions of Victoria project to develop learning modules designed to improve early detection of lymphoedema in general practice, funded by the Department of Human Services in Victoria.
This project has now been rolled out around Australia by the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre and information about these training modules, and other lymphoedema resources for health professionals, can be accessed at www.nbocc.org.au
Input into the Department of Human Services in Victoria Report A Review of Lymphoedema Services in Victoria , released in November 2005.
This report made recommendations regarding the future development of lymphoedema services and training of health professionals in Victoria. It can be accessed from the DHS website at www.health.vic.gov.au/breastcare
